We are pleased to announce that Wehrs Machine & Racing Products will be coming on board as the title sponsor of a new race during the 2019 Harris Clash. The Harris Clash Race of Champions will make it's debut at the Harris Clash on August 6, 2019. This race is for any past Harris Clash Modified or Sport Mod Champion that is a CURRENT Modified driver with a CURRENT 2019 Modified IMCA driver license. Race distance will be 10 to 12 laps depending on number of previous champions wanting to participate. Complete race purse has yet to be determined, but it will pay $1000-to-win! The highest finishing driver in the Race of Champions that has not already qualified for the modified feature will be awarded the provisional for the 2019 Harris Clash Modified Race. Watch for more information and for registered drivers as they become available.

Jake McBirnie, the 2018 Harris Clash champion, is your 2018 Northern Sport Mod IMCA Super Nationals Champion! McBirnie piloted his GRT by BHE to the Big Dance on Saturday, September 8th. This is his first Super Nationals victory. Congratulations, Jake!

One week after the Harris Clash made its way to Deer Creek Speedway for the first time, race promoter Bob Harris announced the historic race would be returning to the Spring Valley, MN track once again in 2019. SPRING VALLEY, Minn. (Aug. 7) – A history-making night turned out to be a record-breaking night Tuesday at Deer Creek Speedway.

​

Cayden Carter raced from 17th starting to win the IMCA Modified main event, and $3,000, at the Harris Clash, the first IMCA event held at Spring Valley. Ninth starting Jake McBirnie topped the Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod feature and earned $1,000.

​

Ninety-six Modifieds and 55 SportMods were entered with the total car count of 151 the highest in the 27-year history of the Clash, which played out before a very full grandstand. Seventeen states and Canada were represented....
